About Me

My Experience

Top Priority

Vik
Uppal

Surrey resident, entrepreneur and community advocate running as an Independent. My approach is simple: listen to residents, examine the facts and bring their concerns to City Hall.

Commerce graduate with experience in business, accounting, budgeting and the mortgage industry. My community work and conversations with residents have given me firsthand insight into local issues.

Public safety: strengthen frontline resources and explore strategically placed cameras in high-risk public areas and major intersections, with appropriate privacy safeguards.

Ian
de
Hoog

I’m a Surrey resident, husband, father, artist, art instructor and software developer. I’m running for Council to listen, understand and act for our community.

As a software developer, artist and instructor, I bring experience solving problems, communicating ideas and working with people. I’m a practical, creative and lifelong learner.

Make sure Surrey residents are genuinely heard. I’ll champion a Surrey Residents Panel and more meaningful public engagement so residents have a voice beyond election day.

Isaac
Daniel

I’m Isaac Daniel a community-minded leader, healthcare worker and union chairperson committed to practical solutions, accountable leadership and a stronger, more connected Surrey.

As a union chairperson, I’ve led members, managed complex issues and advocated for fairness. My healthcare, management and technology experience gives me a practical perspective.

Make Surrey more affordable and connected: seriously examine fare-free transit, improve mobility, reduce barriers for families and build a city where opportunity is within reach.
